Ping Anser is a name nearly every golfer has heard of and reveres, giving deep respect to this classic putter that has been a winning machine for so many. This is the new Ping Anser 2D 2023 model and gives that traditional blade design but with a wider back section. If you like that extra weight at the flange then this model is for you.
This putter is stable, forgiving and extremely accurate from any distance, with this updated model giving a firmer feel and improved distance control. A plumber’s neck hosel and premium graphite shaft are fitted to give reliable results every time you reach the green. A single alignment line on the back flange keeps things simple and unfussy. This model is ideally suited to players with a slight arc in their putting stroke, allowing the face to square at impact.
The face insert is the tried and tested PEBAX with a shallow milled surround running around it, it is expertly milled to give that beautifully smooth roll married with sound and feel that we have come to love from the Anser. This PEBAX face inset is softer feeling for players who love that feel. Tungsten weights are placed at both the heel and toe for exact balancing.
